Old DL:
Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/file/6zzdcp6jr7y34ti/tenshi-1.13.zip
For those who didn’t read the post a few days ago: you also need to install the font here.
Also, you might need the .NET Framework (x86) or (x64) to run this
You can right click Tenshi for a menu of options
Update Log:
Version 1.10:
- Tenshi levels up from being hit now! (I don’t know how that makes sense, but I know we all love watching a colored bar fill up!)
- Leveling up increases the strength she throws the rock with
- Interface is now more colorful
- Save files are encrypted to discourage cheating
- New achievement: Ping-pong (this one’s possible, I even did it a few times myself)
Version 1.11:
- Progress is automatically saved every minute to prevent progress loss from unexpected exits
- Tenshi is more.. jelly-like? idk if this makes it better, but I think it looks funnier this way.
- Fixed most collision glitches
- Removed the “telekinetic grab” “feature”
- Fixed tenshi going off screen
- Reduced exp required to level up
- Increased the amount of influence tenshi’s level has on the throwing strength’
Version 1.12:
- Fixed the error that some people encountered when opening the Stats window.
Version 1.13:
- “No Way That’s Impossible” is more possible now.

Am I the only one that can’t get Stats to work?

Not at all Turnsie, it gives me an error– Full text can be posted by request, don’t want to clog the comments unnecessarily.

@Turnsie and ariamaki
Thank you for sharing this discovery. I wouldn’t have noticed this otherwise, and I’ll fix this asap.
After some testing, I found that the stats window also doesn’t work on one of my Win7 systems. I’ll get back at you once I figure out what the problem is.

Ok i found what the problem is: on the stats window, I used two shape objects to represent the exp bar. Apparently you need some extra thing called the VisualBasic Powerpack to display the shape objects.
So instead of having you guys all install the Powerpack, I just remade the exp bar, this time using two panel objects instead.
The problem should be fixed in version 1.12.

In the version 1.13 download, grabbing0007.png and standing0017.png are corrupt. I tried replacing them with their .png’s from 1.11, but now I’m getting a “Parameter is not valid” error message when I try to run it.

Whoops, never mind that error message. I guess I accidentally put standing0017.png in the wrong folder. But as long as I’m here, is there anyway to transfer achievements and stats from the previous versions?

@ Alastor
You can transfer achievements from the previous versions by copying the scores file (scores without any extension) from the previous version to the new version.
I’ll upload 1.13 again, maybe it didn’t upload properly.

Thanks, that worked.
Now there’s an “Unexpected end of archive” error when you try to open it with WinRAR.

I think my file host is having some problems. It took 3 tries before the file finally uploaded successfully.
If the .zip is corrupt, try downloading again.
If it’s still corrupt after a few tries, leave a comment and i’ll upload it on mediafire or something.

I’ve tried redownloading the .zip file and running it as administrator.

I don’t get any error messages and the program runs fine, but there is no stats window.

Is the achievement window there?
Is the “Stat” option there when you right click tenshi?

lol. It’s my fault, I didn’t mention anywhere that there’s a right-click menu on tenshi.

Very nice, although this is limited to single monitor setups. Tenshi can move between my monitors, but if I drag and drop the ball onto my secondary monitor it teleports to the same position on my primary monitor.
Assuming you’re doing this in C/C++, you can get the entire dekstop resolution for single and multiple monitors using GetSystemMetrics(SM_CXVIRTUALSCREEN) and GetSystemMetrics(SM_CYVIRTUALSCREEN);

Incidentally, you can use the exact same function call in VisualBasic.

Oh, nevermind. Seems like it was just more of the mentioned problems with the sobcraft host

Thank you Michael for sharing your knowledge on dual screen support (I’m too poor to afford the luxury of dual monitors so I never would have looked into that).
Unfortunately, I will not be able to make that adjustment until I get home (I’m visiting my relatives in China for a month). I’ll start adding dual monitor support as well as any other updates as soon as I get home to my computer.
Also, please excuse my inability to respond to comments as I don’t have stable internet access here (borrowing my uncle’s right now).

Sure thing, if you need someone to test it before releasing just email me.

I started her up, and things seem to work, but the combo message says “(number) ghs bnl an!” What?

The “achievement obtained” – or whatever it’s supposed to be – message is similarly messed up.

I have no idea why this could be happening. Try checking if your regional and language setting is English.
Did you install the font? Does it display in the Walfas font?
